TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided to streamline facilities being provided to the pedestrians, especially trekkers to Tirumala. At a review meeting here on Thursday, Executive Officer K.V. Ramanachary directed the officials to get the required software to keep tabs on the pilgrims’ requirements. Steps would be taken to arrange control rooms at ‘Gali Gopuram’ point, Vaikuntam Queue Complex – II and Pilgrim Amenities Complex II to operate token issue counters at an early date. Lockers, food and tonsuring facilities would be kept in place at the PAC – II where 2,000 persons can stay at a given point of time.
