COIMBATORE: Three Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internees (CRRI) of the Coimbatore Medical College are among the 3,340 rank holders in the all-India medical entrance examination for post-graduate medical courses conducted by the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, Dean (in-charge) of the college V. Kumaran told presspersons here on Saturday. Mariano Mascarenhas (90th rank), Vanitha (387th rank) and Kiran Bharat (2247th rank) among 1.35 lakh candidates across the country who appeared for the examination. They were the first batch of trainee doctors (soon after completing their MBBS) in the 35-year-old history of the Coimbatore Medical College to secure ranks in the national level exams for placements for post-graduate courses, the Dean said.
