Kerala Congress(B) leaders quit party

Kochi: The Kerala Congress (B) State secretary P.M. Sunni has said that he and some leaders in different parts of the State have resigned from the party. At a press conference here on Saturday, he said that they had put in their papers to protest against the party’s deviation from its proclaimed objectives. He claimed that leaders and workers numbering around 10,000 in Ernakulam, Kottayam, Idukki, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, and Kozhikode districts had quit the party.
