ELECTRIC ATMOSPHERE: Devotees, clad in red, storm into the premises of the Kodungallur Bhagavathy Temple, near Thrissur, on Saturday during the ‘Kavutheendal’ ceremony. The devotees, called ‘Komarams,’ brandish ceremonial swords and sing earthy songs in praise of the Goddess. Kodungallur Bharani will be celebrated on Sunday.
