S. Railway posts two wins

BANGALORE: Southern Railway won both its matches in the men’s section of the South Zone ball badminton championship being held at Siddapur in Koppal District.

On Friday, Southern Railway beat Kerala 29-7,29-14 and Tamil Nadu 29-26,29-21.

The results: Men: Tamil Nadu bt Karnataka 29-14, 29-3; East Coast Railway bt Andhra 29-21, 29-16; Southern Railway bt Kerala 29-7, 29-14; Southern Railway bt Tamil Nadu 29-26, 29-21.

Women: Kerala bt Karnataka 292-21, 29-19; Tamil Nadu bt Andhra 29-9, 29-11.
