Training for SHGs

COIMBATORE: The National Service Scheme cell of Anna University, Coimbatore, will organise a two-day technical training programme for self-help group members on March 30 and 31.

A release said hands-on training in artificial jewellery manufacturing, soap manufacturing, garment designing and screen painting will be given. The training will be held at the Jothipuram campus of the university.

The Department of Adult and Continuing Education, Avanashilingam University for Women is starting a holiday course for children to develop their creativity in arts and crafts.
