Poll observers appointed

Kakinada: The Election Commission has appointed nine observers for 21 Assembly segments in Kakinada, Rajahmundry and Amalapuram (SC) Parliamentary constituencies. They will be reporting for duty by April 4. For Kakinada, the observers are: Ashok Kumar Varma, Kakinada City, Kakinada Rural and Pithapuram, V. Soundararajan, Tuni and Jaggampeta and A.H. Khan, Prathipadu and Peddapuram. All Assembly segments under the purview of above Parliamentary constituencies except Rampachodavaram (ST) in Araku are going to polls in the second phase on April 23.
