Confident candidate
If you were a student and studied hard throughout the academic year, would you be so confident as to skip the revision for about 10 days before the finals? No student would be so supremely confident, but Lagadapati Rajagopal, the Congress candidate for Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat. He is even staying away from the constituency for 10 days from April 7, accompanying Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy across the State and will campaign for just four days before poll day. “I have touched every village and household at least twice in the last five years, so I’m not worried,” he claims.
