New body for Press Club

Hyderabad: G. S. Vasu, Resident Editor, The New Indian Express has been elected as the president of Press Club– Hyderabad while R. Ravikanth Reddy of The Hindu was unanimously elected as the secretary in the election held for 2009-11 term of the club on Sunday.

The other office bearers elected include Garapati Narasimha Rao (vice-president), V. Narender Reddy (treasurer) and K.L. Kumara Swamy (joint secretary). The executive committee members are – V.J.M. Diwakar, D. Srinivas Reddy, Rajamouli Chary, E. Janardhan Reddy, Jaganmohan Rao and P. Anil Kumar.
