Quits Congress, joins BSP

KADAPA: Bahujan Samaj Party admitted a Congress activist Khader Basha into the party and immediately declared him as party candidate for Kamalapuram Assembly constituency on Monday.

Announcing the candidature at the Press Club here, BSP State secretary Sunkara Srinivas said the party gave B. forms to seven Lok Sabha candidates and 32 Assembly candidates in Rayalaseema districts so far. Mr. Srinivas said he would contest from Rajampet LS constituency and would file his nomination at Chittoor on April 3.
