Domestic help murdered

HYDERABAD: A worker, Mohd. Pasha, allegedly murdered a domestic help, Trisha, 30, with whom he developed an illicit relationship and tried to project it as a case of suicide on Monday at Zaheeranagar in Banjara Hills.

According to Banjara Hills ACP, V. Ramakrishnaiah, Trisha had deserted her husband and two children a couple of years ago. She used to work as a maid in a businessman’s house and live in the servant quarter on its premises. The woman, of late, developed a relationship with Pasha, who was working in the same house.

A few days ago, the woman went back to her children living with their father at Tukaramgate. “Pasha was angry over this. He brought her back to the quarter on Sunday evening, stating that that some theft was committed in the employer’s house,” the ACP said. The same night he allegedly strangled her to death.
