This Day That Age
“In this age of supersonic speed, it is not enough for an Air Force, or for any technical service, just to do the given job efficiently. They must be vigilant and wide awake so as to understand and assimilate the latest technical developments,” says the President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, in a message of greetings to the Indian Air Force on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Service on April 1. He says, “I extend to officers and men of this Service my hearty good wishes on their all-round progress during the year.” Prime Minister, Mr. Nehru, in his message says, “Our Air Force represents the new age and has progressively grown more efficient and has helped in giving relief on occasions of calamities and thus been a messenger of healing and goodwill.”
