Art shows in April

Bangalore: Bangalore city will witness two group art shows in early April. While one is titled “Big Picture – Art, Artists, India Foundation for the Arts”, the other is called “Big Dreams”.

“Big Picture – Art, Artists, India Foundation for the Arts” organised by the India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) will feature the works of 57 artists.

These artists have offered to donate — in part or in full — the proceeds from the sale of their 63 works to the foundation.

According to a communiqué, this is the first time so many artists have come together to support the arts.

The exhibition will be held at the WelcomArt Gallery, ITC Windsor, from April 5 to 8 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. From April 10 to 15, the show will be held at Gallery Sumukha, 24/10, BTS Depot Road, Wilson Garden, Bangalore 560027, from 10.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“Big Dreams”, a group show by 14 artists, has been organised by Crimson, the art resource, and The Hatworks Boulevard.

The exhibition will be on till April 30.
