BANGALORE: The Department of Pre-University Education has arranged a five-day compulsory content enrichment training programme for government high school teachers who have been promoted as lecturers in government pre-university colleges during the summer vacation.
In a press release, the Commissioner of Pre-University Education said the programme would be held for lecturers teaching history, sociology and Kannada from Bangalore and Mysore Divisions, at St. Philomena Pre-University College, New Banni Mantapa Layout, Mysore, from May 18 to 22.At Dharwad
Simultaneous and similar programme for lecturers in Belgaum and Gulbarga divisions would be held at R.L.S. Composite Pre-University College, Dharwad.
During the second phase, a training programme for lecturers teaching English, economics and political science from across the State would be held at S.J.R. Women’s Pre-University College, 59th Cross, Rajajinagar 4th M Block, Bangalore, from May 25 to 29, the Commissioner said.Reporting time
Lecturers have been directed to report to the programme at 9 a.m. on the first day.
