Anuradha finishes 24th

BANGALORE: India’s Anuradha Vaidyanathan finished 24th overall in the Auckland Half Ironman held on March 25.

Though Anuradha covered the swimming segment at a reasonably good pace, she ran into trouble with her new bike as the gears did not shift properly in the uphill climb.

“I lost about 20 minutes in that segment, but I was happy that I could finish the race after contemplating to quit at one juncture,” she said.

Summer camps
