Basketball referees examination

Rakesh hits century

K.J. Rakesh’s 104 and Arun Alex’s four for 33 spell helped DTDC SC defeat HAL SC by 110 runs in a KSCA Group II, first division league match here recently.

The scores: DTDC SC 258 for four in 30 overs (K.J. Rakesh 104, Stalin Hoover 59, A. Rakesh 42) bt HAL SC 148 in 26.3 overs (Arul 33, Saravana 29, B.K. Kumar 26, Arun Alex four for 33, Fayaz Ahmed three for 24).

BMSCE holds sway

Host BMS College of Engineering dominated the BMSCE ‘Kreedotsav’ inter-collegiate sports meet in Bangalore. BMSCE won the throwball (women), chess (men) and table tennis (men and women) titles. The other winners were RVCE (badminton-men), and AIT (badminton-women).
