Exhibition held by police

GOOD SHOW: Collector Reeta Harish Thakkar and Superintendent of Police P. Moorthy having a glimpse of the photo exhibition in Pudukottai organised to mark the 150th year of formation of police department in the State.

PUDUKOTTAI: To commemorate the 150th year of creation of the police department, an exhibition was organised here recently.

Photographs on the rehabilitation of reformed bootleggers, the success of police welfare measures and the public-friendly steps were on display. Rifles and guns were another attraction for the visitors.

Superintendent of Police P. Moorthy explained the objective of the exhibition to Collector Reeta Harish Thakkar.

A large number of students from various educational institutions had a glimpse of the photos and the arms.
