Producing the accused at a press conference, Adilabad Assistant Superintendent of Police Tarun Joshi, Town CI S. Bala Raju and One Town SI D.A. John Diwakar said the police set up a decoy to discover the blue film clip transmission racket in town.
The accused used to load the obscene clips for a consideration of about Rs. 30 from the computers in their shops.
Mr. Tarun Joshi said the arrests were of importance because of last year’s incidents in town wherein clips in circulation featuring local girls had posed problems.
In order to prevent the problem taking menacing proportions, the police will also check at random the mobile phones of youth, he added.
