KCR to strive for package to combat drought

MAHABUBNAGAR: Grand Alliance candidate from Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha constituency and TRS chief K.Chandrashekar Rao announced that he would stay put in Mahabunagar till the drought conditions were removed from the district.
Addressing road shows at Kothakota,Madhanapuram,Chinnachintakunta,Narva and Utkoor on Sunday he said that he would strive for a special package of Rs 1,000 to 1,500 crore to combat drought conditions in the district.
He said he would also strive to provide Krishna waters to each and every village in the district to meet drinking and irrigation needs.
