Call to desist from curriculum revision

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Aided Higher Secondary Teachers’ Association has urged the government to withdraw its move to modify the higher secondary curriculum by making vocational training compulsory.

In a statement here on Sunday, the association said the syllabus prepared by the NCERT and being followed now was of high quality.

Replacing it with a ‘locally designed’ syllabus would lower the quality of education. — Special Correspondent
