Fire at two places

CHENNAI: A fire broke out at two places in the city on Sunday, including one at Anna University premises. In both the incidents, the blaze was put out in less than 30 minutes. No one was injured.
According to Fire and Rescue Service sources, fire broke out on the 4th floor of the Commercial Tax Office on Greams Road around 2.30 a.m. Five fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames after a 20-minute battle.
Computers, ceiling fans and some documents were charred in the incident.
In another incident, a fire was reported inside a science laboratory at Anna University around 7.40 a.m.
Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze put out soon. The cause and loss is yet to be ascertained, the sources added.
