Nominee’s associate injured in attack

BERHAMPUR: Suryamani Raut, associate of Nilamani Bisoi, an independent candidate contesting from Surada Assembly seat in Ganjam district was injured by a group of miscreants.

Mr Bisoi happens to be a rebel candidate of the Congress.

It was also alleged that miscreants had also fired at Mr Bisoi, but he escaped. Mr. Raut was attacked with swords. He was admitted in the MKCG Medical College Hospital.
