Governor’s greetings

Bangalore: Governor Rameshwar Thakur has greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. In his message the Governor said: “On the auspicious occasion of Sri Mahavir Jayanti, I extend my best wishes to the people of Karnataka in general and to members of the Jain community in particular. Let us strive sincerely to follow the teachings of Lord Mahavir, who is the master of infinite compassion, promoter of universal peace, personification of supreme wisdom, equanimity, sacrifice, human solidarity and dignity.”
