Hyundai enters taxi segment in Mumbai

MUMBAI: Hyundai Motor India handed over its first batch of Hyundai’s best selling model — the Santro, to the Mumbai Taxi Union at a ceremony organised at Modi Hyundai dealership. Mumbai city has approx 50,000 black and yellow taxis which are to be replaced by new vehicles. In all, 7,000 old taxis will be replaced in the first phase.
