School Notes

Talent show

Focus Pre-School and Kindergarten in Salem conducted a talent show recently.A number of events were organised during the programme to encourage the tiny tots to display their skills. School Co-ordinator Sujatha Bhaskhar and the teachers made the arrangements for the programme.

Celebrations

Sri Vidhya Bharathi Kindergarten and Primary school in Rasipuram in Namakkal district celebrated its third annual day recently.

Rotary Governor nominee N. Asoka inaugurated the celebrations.

He spoke on the importance of knowledge, attitude, skill and habits.

Colourful cultural programmes marked the celebrations. School President S. Balaji presided.

Annual day

The Kalinga Nursery and Primary School, Erode, celebrated its second annual day recently. A release from the School says all its students, aged between two-and-half and six, participated in the days programmes and treated the audience to a variety of cultural programmes.

Additional Superintendent of Police N. Ratnam and vice president, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Aruna Ramakrishnan presided over the function, the release adds.

Children showcase their skills

Hundred and forty kids of Little Wings, a children’s play school in Erode, participated in the institutions annual day celebrations, held

recently. A release says the children showcased their talents and treated the audience to 12 cultural shows. Superintendent of Police Avinash Kumar and his wife Sushma Avinash Kumar presided over the function.

Schools Director Bhavani Muthuswamy welcomed the gathering.

Fancy dress competition

Little Blossoms Play School, Erode, celebrated its tenth annual day recently, says a release. As part of the event, the school conducted fancy dress competition, the release says and adds that A.K. Shanmugam Sundaram, secretary, Erode Textile Processors Association, distributed the prizes. School Correspondent M. Selvaraj presided over the function. Vice principal R. Amuda welcomed the gathering and Principal P. Sabitha Rani proposed the vote of thanks.
