Vishal, Pankaj bat well

NEW DELHI: Fine batting by Vishal Tyagi (77) and Pankaj Joshi (66 not out) who put on 142 runs for the third wicket helped ITC Limited to a seven-wicket victory over Indian Air Force (IAF) in the first round of the 19th all-India Om Nath Sood memorial cricket tournament at the DDA Sports Complex, Pitampura, on Wednesday.

The scores: IAF 175 in 37 overs (Satish Upadhyay 55, Venkat 36, Imran Khan 31, Nishan Singh three for 38, Babloo Kumar three for 38) lost to ITC 176 for three in 33.1 overs (Vishal Tyagi 77, Pankaj Joshi 66 not out).
