VIE Technologies inaugurated

VISAKHAPATNAM: AU Vice-Chancellor B. Satyanarayana inaugurated VIE Technologies, an IT company providing industrial services and academic training, near Rama Talkies here on Thursday.

Commending the promoters of the organisation, the Vice Chancellor said that the company could provide layout design for the setting up of new industries.

CAD (Computer Aided Design), GIS (Geographical Information Systems) and embedded systems were some of the areas that could be employed in this regard. He said that the organisation could also utilise the expertise available in the Andhra university. Director (personnel) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Y. Manohar, said that the starting of the company at a time when there was a slowdown in the economy and the IT sector indicated the determination of the promoters and their entrepreneurial abilities.
