ANANTAPUR: Electioneering in the district is likely to be intensified with the visits of leaders of different political parties. To begin with, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit the district on April 11 for a day-long whirlwind tour covering six constituencies. Commencing from Kalayandurg, Mr. Naidu, will hold meetings and road shows at Madakasira, Penukonda, Puttaparthi and Kadiri and will stay for the night at Kadiri. PR cadre quitSimilarly, Yuva Rajyam president Pawan Kalyan is likely to visit the district for two days from April 19. Meanwhile, two PR functionaries quit the party protesting lack of transparency in the selection of candidates. Party spokesperson H. Somasekhar and an aspirant for Puttaparthi constituency H. Sudarshana Sharma resigned from the party.
