Ms. Sinha is a 1996 batch IPS officer heading the Anti-Corruption Bureau as its Joint Director before being posted as the SP here. She worked as the sub-divisional police officer at Pulivendula in Kadapa district, additional SP and Officer on Special Duty at Eluru and Commandant of the first battalion of Andhra Pradesh Special Police.
Speaking to media persons, Ms. Sinha said she was happy to be back in East Godavari district where she spent the formative years of her profession and exuded confidence that she would be able to do her best. Her immediate focus would be on peaceful conduct of elections.
Asked what would be her style of functioning, Ms. Sinha she would show it in her deeds rather than talking good of herself and sought the cooperation of people and media in discharging her duties at such a crucial time.
