Belgaum
Belgaum: The police have seized illicit liquor worth Rs. 1,09,220 and arrested seven persons during raids conducted at three places in Belgaum district on Tuesday and Wednesday. The liquor had been stored without permission. According to Superintendent of Police Sonia Narang here on Wednesday, the raids were conducted by the staff of Marihal Police Station under Belgaum Rural sub-division, Kudachi and Athani Police Stations under Chikkodi sub-division. Cases have been registered, she said. — Staff Correspondent
