The assets declared in affidavits filed by contestants don’t indicate over what period these assets have been acquired.

In most cases, the value of their assets exceeded one crore rupees.

How they could acquire so much money when senior government officials cannot acquire such huge amount even after working for 35-40 years? The Election Commission should examine these cases and declare that the candidates don’t deserve a ticket for contesting elections.

We request Election Commission (EC) to provide a mobile polling booth or at least a booth close to Upparpally crossroads in Rajendranagar in view of problems being faced by the elderly men and women. They have to cross the busy inner Ring Road and trek more than a kilometre to cast their vote.

Emails were also sent to the EC requesting it to solve the problem.

Former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu conveniently forgets or backtracks promises he made to people, while Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy fulfils many promises. Mr. Reddy scores over Mr. Naidu in fulfilling the promises.
