‘Siluva yagam’ marks Good Friday

KADAPA: A ‘Siluva Yagam’ rally from Kalakshetram to CSI Christ Church here by P.F.J. Manoranjan troupe which depicted the crucifixion of Jesus Christ marked Good Friday celebrations in Kadapa on Friday. Kiran Satyaraj enacted the role of Jesus Christ and carried a Holy Cross made of wood.

DCC SC Cell chairman P. Vijaya Kumar, Zion College of Physical Education correspondent Krupakar Isaac, Congress leader B. Jakraiah and devout Christians participated in the rally.

At the CSI Church here, John Wesley of Rajahmundry gave a power point presentation on Jesus Christ and Prof. Ruben Mark of Hyderabad and Rev.

Benhur gave discourse at the Christ Church. Christians thronged the Congregational Church, St. Mary’s Cathedral and other Churches, recited Bible and devotional songs.
