Students told to learn workplace technologies

VIJAYAWADA: Students should have knowledge of workplace technologies, practical domain knowledge and interview skills to do well in the present job scenario, says Vijay Pasupulati, vice president, Winzest Edutech.

Addressing students at a workshop on “Career planning and job readiness” organised at Nalanda Degree College on Saturday, Mr. Vijay said there was still hope of jobs emerging in companies if the students equipped themselves with necessary skills. Winzest offers job-oriented training programmes at Hyderabad.

Having 12 years of global experience, Mr. Vijay is the brain behind the programmes of Winzest. This professional training organisation is also offering short-term certificate programmes in financial operations, human resource operations, technical support and sales operations.

Mr. Vijay called upon the students to understand the need for career awareness by enquiring about job opportunities in various sectors. They should get information about specific skills needed to find jobs and work hard , he added.
