Cash transfer scheme creating flutter in other parties, he says Promises health scheme for the poor Srikakaulam: Film actor Bala Krishna has stated that he has taken a direct plunge into politics to restore the glory of the Telugu Desam Partyestablished by his father and to realize the original vision with which it was founded. Addressing election meetings at Ranasthalam, Chilakapalem, Etcherla, Srikakulam seven roads junction, Amudalavalasa and Palakonda on Saturday, Bala Krishna directed his attack against what he called the “corrupt Congress party” and the "directionless Praja Rajyam Party". The burden of his song everywhere was that Congress government was embroiled neck deep in corruption and had made huge money on sale of government lands to vested interests at throwaway prices. He called upon the people to clearly reflect their indignation against the present government by casting their vote in favour of the Telugu Desam Party. He also had a dig at the Praja Rajyam Party and its president Chiranjeevi . He scoffed at the party which, he said, made a mockery of the philosophy of social justice. He maintained that many were deserting the sinking boat of PRP for the injustice being meted out to the social justice communities. Mr.Balaiah stated that the cash transfer scheme and the free television scheme had created a flutter in other parties and made particularly the Congress leaders jittery because of the magical response it is getting from the poor people particularly in the rural areas. The Telugu Desam Party if returned to power would also formulate a comprehensive health scheme for the poor. He appealed to people to stand by Kinjarapu Yerran Naidu who is contesting as MP candidate for Srikakulam, Assembly candidate Gundu Appalaswamy and other party candidates for Etcherla, Amudalavalasa and Palakonda.
