Navy Chief for city today

Admiral Sureesh Mehta, Chief of Naval Staff, will arrive here on Sunday to chair the annual commanders’ conference being hosted by the headquarters of Eastern Naval Command from April 13 to 15. The commanders’ conference will be attended by Commanders-in-Chief of the Western, Eastern, Southern Naval Commands, Commander-in-Chief, Andaman Nicobar and Vice-Chief of the Naval Staff. Several flag and senior naval officers from integrated headquarters, Ministry of Defence (navy) and three naval commands will attend.

Maria Teresa Mehta, president-in-chief, Naval Wives’ Association, will be accompanying Admiral Mehta.
