STAR ATTRACTION: Actors Ramcharan Teja (left) and Allu Arjun treat themselves to ‘Tapeswaram kaja’ presented by fans in East Godavari district on Sunday. VISAKHAPATNAM: They made a guest appearance at the railway station but it turned into a super hit from the word go. The frenzied fans, braving lathi blows from policemen and flexing of muscles by private security guards, created ear-splitting cacophony to greet them tumultuously. Amid unprecedented security and the deployment of commandos from Railway Police Special Force following fans entering into the train by breaking the security cordon at Khammam on Saturday night, the sons of Chiranjeevi and Allu Aravind waved at the crowds and delivered brief filmy style speeches. Amid full-throated slogans like ‘twinkle twinkle little star, Chiranjeevi megastar’ and ‘Jai Chiranjeeva,’ the fans mostly in the age group of 15-25 stormed into platform No. 6 at the railway station here on Sunday to greet Chiranjeevi’s son Ramcharan Teja and film producer Allu Aravind’s son Arjun. Their speeches were drowned in the din that followed. However, the crowd went on creating noise till the 15-coach Praja Rail Yatra train left for Anakapalle, from where Mr. Aravind, the main strategist of PR, is contesting for the first time for the membership of Lok Sabha. Social justiceThe fans kept on addressing ‘Chirutha,’ the first hit movie of Ramcharan when he showed a toy train to appeal to the fans to vote PR to power and make Chiranjeevi the next Chief Minister. Both later told reporters on-board the train that only the PR was committed to social justice and to bring about a change in society. On quitting of several leaders and their allegations against the party leadership, the duo said the departure of some apparently due to denial of ticket would not make much impact on the winning prospects of PR. PR candidate for Visakhapatnam LS seat Palla Srinivasa Rao said none could stop the PR train from reaching its destination and making Chiranjeevi the ‘people’s CM.’
