Strive for betterment of society: Kanimozhi

Nagercoil: The younger generation should strive hard for betterment of the society, said Kanimozhi, M.P.
Addressing a gathering in view of the 4th anniversary of Press Club of Kanyakumari district organised here on Monday, she said all parties should motivate the younger generation so that a strong nation could be formed.
Sahitya Akademi award winner Thoppil Mohammed Meeran said many journals were publishing news in favour of the ruling party and not for the betterment or development of the society. There was no editorial comment in Tamil journals. A souvenir was released by Kanimozhi and it was received by Thoppil Mohammed Meeran.
Tourism Minister N. Suresh Rajan and Minister for Information and Public Relations Poongothai participated.
