Nagercoil: The district administration has appointed 12 Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) to monitor and inform the malpractices and the violation of model code of conduct by various political parties, if any, to the election commission. Two Assistant Returning Officers each for 6 Assembly segments, including Kanyakumari, Nagercoil, Colachel, Padmanabhapuram, Vilavancode and Killiyoor, have been appointed.
