Nabbed for cousin’s murder
NEW DELHI: A young man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his cousin at R. K. Puram here this past month. The mobile phone of the deceased has allegedly been seized from him. Twenty-four-year-old Suraj was found dead in his rented room in Mochi Bagh village on March 27. During investigation, the police found that the victim was staying with one Sanjay, who told the police that a young man had come to their room and introduced himself as a relative of Suraj. The visitor was identified as Kalicharan. During interrogation, Kalicharan revealed that Suraj was the only claimant to the family’s ancestral property besides Kalicharan. Kalicharan hatched a plan to kill Suraj. On March 26, he consumed liquor with Suraj and later tied and strangled him.
