Rs. 7.89 lakh seized

HYDERABAD: The Malakpet police on Tuesday seized Rs. 7.89 lakh from fruit market agent, Syed Afsar of Akbarbagh, near Mumtaz College. He was travelling in a car and told the police that the amount was part of the collection from his clients.

However, the police seized the money as he could not present any documents pertaining to the amount. He was being questioned when reports last came in.
