HYDERABAD: B. Vaishnav beat P.C. Anirudh 9-5 to win the under-9 singles title in the AP State open junior tennis tournament at Ganesh Raman Tennis Academy here on Tuesday. M. Rohit won the under-11 title beating K. Tharun 9-1. The results: Under-9: final: B. Vaishnav bt P.C. Anirudh 9-5. Semifinals: B. Vaishnav bt K. Bhaskar 8-7 (7-4); P. C. Anirudh bt K. Tharun 8-1. Under-11: Final: M. Rohith bt K. Tharun 9-1. Semifinals: K. Tharun bt Shaikh Rafat 8-7 (7-2); M. Rohith bt M. Tirdha Sashank 8-2. Golf tournamentThe Golf Association of Andhra Pradesh will organise a junior (under-16) tournament at the Railway Golf Club on April 21.
