SALEM: Residents of Udhayapuri Colony in Ward 3 on Sunday have decided to boycott the polls, protesting against the lack of basic amenities. They said that the civic administration and the elected representatives had failed to create amenities such as drinking water supply provisions, street lights and drainage facilities in the area.The colony was yet to get Cauvery River water. The decision was taken during the meeting of the residents of the colony.
