Tatkal scheme for authentication

HYDERABAD: The State Government has introduced a tatkal scheme for authentication/attestation of certificates of private parties for use in foreign countries with a fee of Rs.500 for issue on the same day, according to GO 175 issued on April 17.

The GO said fee for each certificate/document under the regular scheme for authentication/attestation for issue in the normal course has been increased to Rs.250 from Rs.50.

This has been done as some are applying for attestation ‘just out of curiosity/abundant precaution immediately on completion of their course’.
