Sadasiv Tripathy remembered

KORAPUT: The 99th birth anniversary of Sadasiv Tripathy, the first Chief Minister from Koraput region, was celebrated at Jagannath temple here.

While highlighting his true patriotism and selfless political leadership, Krushna Chandra Panigrahy, Director of Tribal Museum, said that various activities were planned in memory of the leader of the yesteryear. The members present at the meeting also recommended the State government to include the life story of Sri Tripathy in the school textbooks as a mark of honour to the departed patriot. People from various sections of society attended the meeting.
