3 held, pirated CDs seized

TAMBARAM: Three persons have been arrested by the Central Crime Branch personnel of Chennai Suburban Police on charges of selling pirated movie CDs. The police have also confiscated 5,000 discs from three different places in Ambattur.

A press release said that a CCB team raided places in Vijayalakshmipuram, Vinayagapuram and M.G.R. Puram in Ambattur and seized 5,000 DVDs and VCDs of Tamil films. They also arrested S. Anthony (28), S. Perumal (31) and P. Ajithkumar (21) in this connection, the release said.
