HDFC Bank pays Rs. 10 per share

CHENNAI: HDFC Bank posted a total income of Rs. 19,622.90 crore in the 12 months ended March 31, 2009, against Rs. 12,398.20 crore in the previous year. Net revenues (net interest income plus other income) were higher by 42.6 per cent at Rs. 10,711.80 crore against Rs. 7,511 crore. The net profit has improved by 41.2 per cent to Rs. 2,244.9 crore. The board has recommended a dividend of Rs. 10 per share for 2008-09 against Rs. 8.5 per share previously, says a release. — Corporate Reporter
