Gold chain snatched

CHENNAI: Motorcycle-borne youths snatched a three-sovereign gold chain from a septuagenarian in Palavakkam here on Thursday.

Police said that the victim, Prathiba (74) of VGP Layout, was walking when the suspects who came from behind snatched her chain and escaped. The Neelankarai police registered a case.
