Amarinder Singh warns Akalis
Bathinda: The former Punjab Chief Minister and chairman of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Campaign Committee, Capt. Amarinder Singh, warned the Akalis on Sunday against “threatening and intimidating” his party workers and supporters.
He also appealed to the police not to follow the “Akali dictates blindly and to stop harassing innocent people.”
“Half your [Akali government] term is over and only two-and-a-half years remain, that too if you are lucky enough to survive it,” Capt. Singh said at a public meeting organised by Ajaib Singh Bhatti, MLA, at Nathana, in the Bathinda parliamentary constituency. “Beware what will happen to you.” — PTI
