Medical camp held

Tuticorin: As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in the field of health, various medical camps were being conducted by Sterlite Industries India Limited (SIIL) in different parts of the district at regular intervals. A medical camp was organized at Nainarpuram village in association with Apollo Hospitals, Madurai, on Sunday.

Around 160 villagers were benefited from the camp and the participants were screened by a team of doctors comprising Dr. Udhaya and Dr. Shankar.

Suganthi Chelladurai, Associate Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility, SIIL, and K.Patchammal, president, Nainarpuram panchayat, were present during the camp.
