Symbols alloted
KRISHNAGIRI: A total of 16 candidates are in the fray in the Krishnagiri Lok Sabha constituency. T. Jothi Damodaran who filed nomination as a candidate of Akila India Vallalar Peravai withdrew on Monday.
The following is the list of symbols allotted to candidates: E.G. Sugavanam (DMK) – Udyasuriyan; K. Nanje Goud (AIADMK) – two leaves; D. Anbarasan (DMDK) – murasu; G. Balakrishnan (BJP) – lotus; V.V. Murthy (BSP) – elephant; Sakthivel (LJP) – bungalow; Selvaraj (Kongunadu Munnetra Kazhagam) – gas cylinder.
Independents: Chandran – television; Gourappa – cricket bat; Venkatesan – train engine; Latha – almirah; Meena Vindhai Vendhan – candle; Sankar – battery torch; Ramasamy – camera; Kumaresan – ceiling fan; Govindarajan – iron box.
